The Architecture of Experience

Great experiences, like great architecture, aren't thrown together by chance. Both are built on a foundation of data and design. This year's 7X Summit brings together academics, industry leaders, practicing professionals, and rising talent to explore the research behind great experiences and what happens when that research is put into practice in real-world settings.

The Experience Research Society will hold its 7th annual 7 Experiences Summit October 27–30, 2026, at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, USA. The summit is hosted by the Department of Experience Design and Management in the Marriott School of Business. The theme is "The Architecture of Experience," and the conference brings researchers and professionals together to share and discuss how meaningful experiences are thoughtfully designed, structured, and delivered.

Since the first summit at Aalto University in 2020, the 7X Summit has grown across both in-person and online events. The 2026 edition will be in person with hybrid options.
