Directions to the BYU Conference Center
Car Rental
Most major car rental agencies are available at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).
Private Shuttle
It is approximately a one-hour drive from the SLC Airport to Provo. We strongly encourage you to make shuttle reservations in advance to avoid waiting at the airport. If you choose to make arrangements on arrival, the shuttle service counters are located near the baggage claim area.

Public Transit
Utah Transit Authority (UTA) has transit options from SLC Airport to Provo.
- Purchase a ticket at the station kiosk for FrontRunner (North Temple to Provo).
- FrontRunner tickets include TRAX and bus service for two hours.
- Sunday service is not available for FrontRunner.
- Take TRAX (light rail) Green Line to (West Valley City).
- Exit TRAX at Guadelupe/North Temple station.
- Descend from the TRAX platform down to the FrontRunner (commuter rail) platform.
- Take FrontRunner south to Provo (end of the line).
- Take a bus to your destination:
- Bus 830 runs up University Avenue past the library.
- Bus 836 runs up Freedom Boulevard past the Provo Marriott.
Provo Municipal Airport (PVU) is also an option for some visitors.
- Hertz and Enterprise offer car rentals at the Provo airport.
- You can use ride sharing services, taxis, or any car rental agency willing to pick you up.

We strongly encourage you to use the bus rapid transit system, Utah Valley Express (UVX), Route 830X, which runs through Provo and Orem.
The benefits of riding Utah Valley Express:
- No need to bring a car to campus.
- Buses arrive at each station every 6 to 10 minutes from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays. The early morning
- and late evening routes, from 5:00 to 7:00 a.m. and from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m., arrive at each station every 15 minutes. See the UTA website for weekend times.
Each bus stops at four stations on campus:
- BYU Stadium Station near LaVell Edwards Stadium
- BYU North Campus Station near the BYU Conference Center
- BYU Central Campus Station by the Music Building
- BYU South Campus Station just 300 yards south of the Wilkinson Student Center
Each end of the UVX route—the Provo Central Station and the Orem Central Station—is a connecting point to FrontRunner, UTA’s commuter rail system that has trains running between Ogden and Provo. BYU is just a 23-minute bus ride from either of these stations.
Parking
Please park in the parking lot west of the Conference Center/Harman Continuing Education Building (CONF/HCEB) Brigham Young University (Lot 20R - Restricted). See campus map.

You will check in at the BYU Conference Center/Harman Continuing Education Building (770 E University Parkway, Provo, UT 84602).
